Swedish Massage
Swedish massage uses flowing, gentle strokes, kneading, and rhythmic tapping to encourage relaxation and improve circulation. This technique is ideal for reducing stress, enhancing lymphatic flow, and calming the nervous system—making it a great choice for anyone needing restorative touch without deep pressure.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy focuses on small, hyper-irritable spots in muscles—often felt as “knots”—that can cause local or referred pain. By applying direct, sustained pressure to these points, this technique helps release tension, restore muscle function, and decrease pain patterns that can linger or radiate elsewhere in the body.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue using slow, focused strokes and sustained pressure. It’s especially effective for chronic muscle tension, postural issues, or repetitive strain. This work can help improve mobility, reduce pain, and release long-held patterns of tightness.
Cupping
Cupping uses suction created by special cups to lift the skin and fascia away from underlying muscles. This promotes circulation, relieves deep tension, and supports the body’s natural healing processes. Cupping can feel like a reverse massage and may leave temporary marks, but many clients find it highly effective for persistent tightness or stagnation.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release involves slow, sustained pressure to stretch and soften the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds muscles. By working with little or no oil and waiting for tissue to release, this approach helps reduce restrictions, improve range of motion, and relieve chronic discomfort that isn’t always resolved through traditional massage.
